The DPW Sign Division captures the sign information and maintains the original data found in SimpleSigns. This feature class is then occasionally updated by the staff in the GIS Division</SPAN><SPAN>and DPW Sign Shop</SPAN><SPAN>.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>1. 5,990 signs out of 7,971 signs are mapped. This leaves 1,981 signs not mapped.</SPAN><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>2. Beginning September 2024 an ordinance is not needed for stop signs. The City Engineer may approve the removal and installation of them.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>3. Parking signs require an ordinance. This ordinance may be found in the line type feature class named, ParkingRestriction.</SPAN><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>4. This point feature class is updated frequently by the sign shop.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
