Created January 16, 2024 with ArcGIS Pro 3.2.0 with the aprx titled, GeocodeWausau. This aprx created both the centerline and address point geocode locators. The area for geocoding was made smaller to avoid duplicate addresses in the former Village of Brokaw. Also, there was a previous geocoding layer named, AddressLocator_Wausau created January 24, 2022 which has since been deleted. The feature layers used to create this were copied from MARATHON_GIS.GISCOUNTY.BASEMAP.address. The fields: LOWEVEN, LOWODD, HIGHEVEN, and HIGHODD were removed from the city set as they are legacy fields no longer used by the county.
This geocode service is used by the following web sites: Inspection and Zoning, Wausau Public Works, Garbage and Recycling, Leaf Collection, and Public Site.
